Welcome back everyone after our
lovely summer holidays.
Thank
you to everyone who has already organised and sent to school all your child’s
stationery. If you have not organised this yet, please do so as the children
are very excited to start working in their new books.
Meet The
Teacher Evening
*Thursday 11th February
7pm in HPS hall to meet staff and hear Principal’s policies for HPS
*Followed
by a small presentation in Room 13, 7.30pm about our classroom programmes.
Swimming
*On Monday, Wednesday &
Friday for Room 13
*Children
to bring named togs, towel
and cap. Goggles are optional.
*No
swimming cap = No swim
Child Survey:
Please complete the attached survey about your child and return
it to school as soon as possible. This is a great way for us to learn more
about your child.
Iceblock
Fridays
*Iceblocks on sale at lunchtimes
every Friday this term, starting 12th Feb - bring $1
Summer Uniform
*Children must bring their school
hat every day to protect them from the sun when outside
*No
hat = No play and children
must stay under shaded area in playground

Homework
Reading: Read
your reader each night and your poem on Friday. Write all of these in your log.
The logs need to be handed in every Friday for marking and so your child can
get their next certificate.
